What an incredible Sunday it was. This morning was our Plus One Sunday—a day we encouraged everyone to invite someone new to church.

At first, it looked like it might be a quiet morning, but just before 10 a.m., cars started pulling in one after another. Soon every seat was filled, the room was buzzing, and there was such a sense of anticipation.

So many new faces, so many people stepping into church for the first time. Before the sermon even began, a woman stood up to share a powerful testimony of God’s goodness in her life. We prayed together, and the Spirit of God filled the room in such a real, unmistakable way.

Then came a time of worship that was absolutely alive—voices lifted high, hands raised, hearts open. We sang How Great Thou Art alongside more contemporary songs, and you could feel the joy and freedom in the room.

The message came from John 1:45–51, where Philip says to Nathanael, “Come and see.” Three simple words that changed everything. That same invitation still echoes today. God often works through simple steps of obedience—through an invitation, a conversation, a moment of courage to reach out. Just as Philip invited Nathanael to meet Jesus, we’re called to do the same.

At the end of the message, people responded. Some gave their hearts to Jesus. We prayed together and felt such a sense of joy and gratitude. Afterward, we shared morning tea and celebrated what God had done.

This day was such a reminder that when we invite others to come and see, God moves in ways far beyond what we expect. He draws people to Himself with love and grace, and all we have to do is extend the invitation.

If you missed it or want to experience it again, you can listen to the full sermon here.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8

All glory to God for what He’s doing—bringing people together, transforming hearts, and reminding us that His invitation still stands: come and see.
